Mexico!

In 2005 I participated in a Spanish Language Immersion class in Guanajuato, Mexico sponsored by Lake Tahoe Community College. We flew into Mexico City, then went on to Teotihuacan to visit the piramides de la luna y el sol, then to Guanajuato where I stayed with a Mexican family for two weeks while I attended weekday Spanish language classes. On the weekends we had other optional trips and tours. Two weeks of classes won't teach you to speak Spanish, but the cultural experience of living with a Mexican family and visiting sites around the country was priceless!
